ブリティッシュインターナショナルスクールプーケット（略してBIS）は、プーケットの中心部に1996年に全日制男女共学の全寮制学校として創設され、英国のカリキュラムに基づいた教育を行っています。39エーカーのキャンパスには、スポーツだけでなく勉学に秀でる学生を可能にする質の高い寮と世界水準の施設があります。現在37以上の異なる国籍を持つ約800人の学生が在籍しています。
BISプーケットは、イングランドとウェールズのナショナルカリキュラムをもとに幼稚園、小学校、中学、高校と高い国際標準の学校教育を提供しています。IBディプロマプログラム、IGCSE、そしてケンブリッジESOLといった外部の統一試験が受けられます。
学業成績は、東南アジア地域で最高で、BISプーケットは世界中の一流大学に卒業生を送っています。 2010年と2011年にBISプーケットの学生はケンブリッジ国際試験で"世界のトップ"と"タイでのトップ"を受賞しました。 また2010年に学校は、タイで"国際教育の中で最高のサービス提供者"として、内閣総理大臣賞を受賞しました。

本校は以下の協会により正式に認可された教育機関です。インターナショナルスクール評議会（CIS）大学のニューイングランド協会（NEASC）タイのインターナショナルスクール協会（ISAT）、東南アジア英国インターナショナルスクール同盟（FOBISSEA）英国寄宿学校協会連合会（BSA）の会員です。

2011年には"明日を担うリーダーを"輩出し続け、創立15周年を祝いました。

BISは、毎年7月に英語ホリデーキャンプとスポーツアドベンチャーキャンプを実施しています。プロのコーチによるBIS"フライングフィッシュ"水泳チームを持っています。

The British International School (BIS), Phuket is an English medium, co-educational, day and boarding school that was established in 1996 in the heart of Phuket. Its purpose-built 39 acre campus includes high quality boarding accommodation and provides world-class facilities which enable students to excel in sports as well as in their studies. The student population consists of some 800 students with over 37 different nationalities represented. 
BIS Phuket provides a Pre-School, Primary and Secondary School education of the highest international standard which utilizes the National Curriculum of England and Wales. External examinations are offered in the IB diploma programme, IGCSE, and Cambridge ESOL.
Academic results are amongst the best in the South East Asian region and BIS Phuket graduates regularly move on to top universities all around the world. In 2010 and 2011 BIS Phuket students received ‘Top in World’ and ‘Top in Thailand’ awards from the Cambridge International Examinations board. In 2010 the school also received the Prime Minister’s award as the ‘Best Service Provider in International Education’ in Thailand. 

The school is jointly accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). It is also a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT), the Federation of British International Schools in South and East Asia (FOBISSEA) and the Boarding Schools Association of the United Kingdom (BSA)

The year 2011 has seen BIS Phuket celebrate 15 years of excellence in producing 'Leaders for Tomorrow'.

BIS also run English Holiday Camps and Sports and Adventure Camps every July and has the BIS ‘Flying Fish’ Swim Team with a professional coach.
