With a lush, green 111 rai (44 acre) site, the grounds of British International School, Phuket (BISP) are an amazing place for amateur birdwatchers to sight the many splendoured birds of Thailand.

The following birds have been have been seen on, flying over or from (by eye, with binoculars or a telescope) the campus. With thanks to Derek Evans, Iain Richardson, Carey Christensen, Tim Evans and Headmaster Neil Richards.

The excellent illustrations of the birds were made by the talented students of the BISP Art & Design Academy, under the tutelage of Academy Director Claire Lester.

For more information about studying at BISP, or if you have a bird to add to this list, please email info@bisphuket.ac.th
