British International School Phuket Thailand  promotes a cross-curricular approach to learning, whilst recognising the benefits of discrete subject teaching. There are time-tabled slots for Literacy, Numeracy and specialist lessons* during the course of the week. Other subjects, listed below, will be taught through cross-curricular topics. These topics change each term/half-term and have a different subject emphasis. Some topics will draw on the rich background in Thailand, whilst others will draw on areas from all around the world. We aim to promote international understanding as well as a knowledge of our host country, Thailand. Aspects of all the below subjects are taught over the course of a year:
