On Wednesday 12 November, colleagues from schools across Southeast Asia arrived for the two-day 2014 Annual Boarding Conference at BISP.
Our fellow delegates represented Harrow International School Bangkok, Harrow International School Hong Kong, International School Brunei, Regent’s School Pattaya, Regent’s School Bangkok, Bromsgrove International School Bangkok, Nexus International School Putrajaya (Malaysia), PREM Tinsulanonda International School Chiang Mai, and Ruamrudee International School Bangkok.
We discussed the critical challenges that we all face in boarding, shared experience, brain-stormed pragmatic solutions and talked about the continuous road to improvement in the boarding environment. It was an inspirational journey, delegates being experienced professionals with a proven track record in managing successful boarding provision.
When Mr Richards and Mr Meredith kindly closed the conference, we asked the representatives to share a word which summarised their sentiments leaving the conference. These were: enthused, reinvigorated, confident and ready (to attack our boarding action plans with renewed vigour)!
Thank you to the delegates for their professional sharing, and thank you to Mr Richards, Mr Meredith, House Parents, Khun Gai, Business Development, Transport, the Refectory, Housekeeping and the IT department for supporting the Conference.
