Teachers cast their magic

On Thursday 4th Feb, we celebrated our second Harry Potter Night in the Primary Library, with children from Y4, Y5 and Y6 dressed up and ready to cast their spells and compete against other Hogwarts houses!

The costumes were absolutely fantastic, and the winners of best dressed students all received a book prize. The Library was fully decorated for the event, and the big storm happening outside just added a lot to the already eerie atmosphere!

After being sorted into their houses through the sorting hat ceremony, the students took part in a quiz, a spells duel, a drawing contest, and could create their own Hogwarts door hanger, and the evening saw a wonderful victory from Slytherin, just in front of Gryffindor!

A great night of fun was had by all, and we already look forward to Harry Potter Night next year!
