Australian hockey star Nicole Arrold visited British International School, Phuket (BISP) on Thursday 12 May to give an inspiring talk to sports staff and students on the importance of resilience, working hard, a positive outlook, and seizing your opportunities.

Arrold made her Olympic debut in 2004 when her good friend and teammate, Sarah Taylor was injured just days out from the Games. Arrold also competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the Australians finished fifth on each occasion.

She also won two Commonwealth Games gold medals in 2006 and 2010.
