BISP Student Bai-dteuy has once again made headlines with her passion to help others and to share her experiences, at a TEDx event held on January 27th. Speaking to an audience of over a hundred, she described her entrepreneurial journey over the past year, which started from the LaunchX Club at school that led to the Global Demo Day at MIT and the QuarterZero Incubator last summer. Bai-dteuy was also featured in a Thai TV show WinWinWAR for a web app ‘Sandee for Good’ to help charitable organisations in Thailand connect with their donors.
“I feel it’s vital to tell people about the challenges I have faced and the lessons I’ve learnt. The goal of my talk was to inspire people to get out of their comfort zones and take initiatives on whatever they feel passionate about, without age being a boundary,” commented Bai-dteuy.
The event featured a total of nine speakers or ‘Do-ers’ who have started projects, a few of which are a beach protection movement in Southern Thailand, an architect for rural communities, social enterprises, a mental health app and a social impact play director. The speakers all started with goals that positively affects themselves and the community around them.
Congratulations on your successes Bai-dteuy!
