There were three wonderful aspects of this event; making the Krathongs, the Miss Noppamas contest, and the stage performances by BISP teachers and students.

On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th November, all the students made their own krathongs and brought them home the end of the day. Throughout this activity the students were helping each other and were given examples of nicely designed Kratongs by the Thai teachers.

On Friday 7th November, the Loy Krathong assembly started with a Thai traditional performance called “Staff Dance” by our new BISP teachers followed by the singing performance by Ms. Wilkinson from the Music department, lined up with The Thai Folk Tale Skit: Plaa Boo Thong. It was a fantastic show of year 12 IB Thai students.

Finally, the performances end with the Thai Costume Fashion show by period of time from Dhavarawadee to Rattanakosin. It was amazing watching BISP teachers and students performances in their beautiful Thai costumes!

Thank you all the teachers, parents and students for another successful event.
