BISP celebrated our annual International Day on Friday 22nd March. The celebration kicked off with a parade of the 44 different nations represented by our very diverse and truly international student body at BIS Phuket. All 800 students wore either their national costume or national colours. The student flag bearer from each country gathered on the stage for a stunning photograph of nations, which was followed by stage performances by different mother-tongue groups of students, entertaining via the mediums of music, dance or drama. BISP students and staff were able to taste many different national foods on the day too, as there were 12 different international food stalls run by BISP parents.

Parents and businesses were kind enough to donate the delicious foods that were enthusiastically sampled on the day by students and staff. Thank you all very much for your generous donations, with special thanks to Tourism Malaysia Phuket (Malaysian stall) and Lady Pie (Australian stall).
