I would like to take this opportunity to remind our community that the school campus is a ‘no smoking’ area, and that this includes any form of electronic cigarette.
Also, could I request that all parents drive slowly and take extra care when driving into the school car-parks – children are not always alert to traffic once they enter the school grounds.
As you will note, it has been an extremely busy and productive few weeks, with so many of our students achieving success in a broad range of events and activities.
I would like to acknowledge the hard efforts and support of the teachers who make all this possible by seeking every opportunity to provide an experiential education of quality for our young people.
Finally, I am particularly pleased that Lance King, an internationally recognized author, teacher and workshop facilitator is currently in school working on ‘approaches to learning’ and ‘resilience’ with our IB students (and also presenting to teachers and parents).
It is a timely visit, and I am sure it will benefit our students immensely as they prepare for their external examinations.
