The BISP Year 6 Residential Trip to Khao Lak was an enjoyable and educational excursion for the teachers and their students, who enjoyed their stay at the Palm Galleria Khao Lak for the duration of the trip.

The first day, they visited the Turtle Sanctuary and then went to the Adventure Mountain Club for lunch and team-building activities.khao lak year 6 trip lunch

Over the following two days, the classes travelled by luxury catamaran to the Similan Islands for snorkelling, went to the Din Daeng Village where they went for Kayaking through the Mangroves and they also successfully learnt and tried the ‘Sluice Method’ attempting find tin. One afternoon the students, assisted by their teachers, conducted a beach clean-up and ended their day with a swim.

On the last day of the trip, students visited the Phang Nga Elephant Park to learn about the plight of the Asian Elephant and how they can make a difference in keeping them safe.
