As we received some of our best LAMDA results as a school, celebrations are in order. This year BISP’s Drama Department entered over 200 students in LAMDA examinations in Speaking in Public and another 17 students across IGCSE and IB courses in LAMDA examinations in Acting.

This years results were outstanding with 91% of students receiving a merit or higher. Our highest graded students across the Speaking in Public examinations were three boys in Year 8 who managed to achieve the three best grades across the school. A massive congratulations to Viktor in year 8 who achieved an amazing 100% in his exam not dropping a single mark, closely followed by Thomas receiving 99% and then Tamino with an incredible 98%, congratulations to those three.

In Year 7 we saw excellent success with six students receiving 93% or above, an amazing achievement for their first LAMDA exam. A huge congratulations to Archie who received the highest grade across Year 7 with 97%.

Year 9 saw some of the schools highest grades the school has seen with 96% of Year 9 students receiving a Merit grade or higher in an exam which is notably harder than those taken in Year 7 and 8. The highest grade in Year 9 went to Cat who received 96% the highest mark across the year group, well done Cat.

Moving on to the acting examinations, it was the first time the school enrolled student in LAMDA Acting examinations this year and what a success it was. We received a 100% pass rate with all students receiving Merit or higher and we look forward to the future results of these exams.
