Opportunities for performance are provided at every level of Primary education led by a specialist drama teacher and there are auditions for an annual Primary production. Further opportunities are provided by class assemblies.
In the Secondary section drama is timetabled for Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9), and then offered as an examination option at IGCSE and the IB Diploma. Major Secondary productions are staged at least twice each year and further opportunities for performance are provided through assemblies and special event celebrations.
The specialist drama teachers also prepare all the Key Stage 3 students for annual external examinations of the London Academy of Music and dramatic Arts (LAMDA); IGCSE and IB theatre arts student also take more advanced LAMDA examinations.
