One of BISP’s three learning values is Develop Expert Learners. An important part of this is supporting students to understand the way that their brains work and developing an appreciation of what neuroscience has to tell us about effective learning.

After the recent primary Brain Day there were a number of requests for additional information from parents.  To provide this information, we have subscribed to a series of Focus Education newsletters known as Parenting with the Brain in Mind.

We plan to share an installment from this series with each UPDATE newsletter to enable parents to build their understanding of the human brain, learning, neuroscience and how they can work with us to support all children to be expert learners.
