bisp fobisia Aleksey Grigorev 2018

We had a superb 3 days of Fobisia music making working with professional conductor, Jonathan Mann and students from Alice Smith, Kuala Lumpur, the Imanuel School, Bangkok (very generously sponsored by our community) and of course, our wonderful BISP musicians. These events are important for our students as they work as a team at a professional but non-competitive level sitting alongside their teachers who are also concentrating, listening and trying to play the notes in exactly the way the conductor requires.

A huge thank you to the wonderful BISP Performing Arts Department teachers, Violinist Aleksey Grigorev for his inspiring masterclass and of course the students giving the first Phuket performances of two major orchestral works and a lively and precise performance of the “Lion King” medley!
