70 students and their teachers came together for the first FOBISIA Wind Band festival, for players who have been learning for ashort time. Some students had only be learning for 4 months but you would not have known – what a fantastic sound they made in the final concert.

We are immensely proud of the 41 BISP Year 7 and 8 students who took part, and especially Kiera n from Year 6. The students joined in with the spirit of a music camp and really enjoyed their stay in the Yon and Kata boarding houses with their new friends from St. Andrews 71, Shrewsbury and Garden KL. All these schools visit us for sporting events but coming together as musicians there are no winners or losers – everyone is a winner and we heard that last night!
