Congratulations to all BISP Primary children who participated in the FOBISIA Word Mania challenge – an online competition set to improve students’ literacy skills whilst competing against other schools throughout the FOBISIA family of schools and further afield. Year 2 students received a participation place ranking for their efforts.
The challenge involved making as many words as possible from a given set of letters in a set time.
“This has been a competition that has caught the imagination of a number of our children. It is a fun way to develop spelling strategies and extend vocabulary,” commented Ken Page, BISP’s Primary Principal.
