Parenting is the hardest job you will ever have. We all wish that there was a book telling us how to do it the best way.
The bad news is that there isn’t one book to help you in parenting… The good news is there are several books that can help you.
As every child and parent is different, all solutions to a problem will, inevitably, be different. Therefore, it is valuable to have a range of solutions to better parenting, and to try them out in practice.
Below, are some books available in the Secondary Library that may contribute to developing your parenting skills. They may help you with the most important job you will ever have; that of being a parent.
We recommend these books as they are straightforward to understand, humorous, interactive, including step-by-step instructions and worksheets, and suggesting a hands on approach to parenting skills.
Check them out. Discuss them with other parents, and consider their worth. If you have further recommendations for good reads, let us know, and we will inform the Library.
And, if you are interested establishing a BISP sharing, caring, support group for parents, please let us know. We will be happy to coordinate this.
