On Thursday and Friday last week (14th and 15th January), the BISP library held a huge secondhand book sale in the foyer of the main teaching building.

More than 3,000 titles were on offer: old stock from the libraries (out of date or duplicate copies), including books in other languages such as Thai, French and Russian; picture books; fiction books for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3; dictionaries; and a lot of non-fiction books.

The fair was very successful and attracted a lot of parents, staff and students. We sold around half of the stock we had on offer, with the money raised helping us to buy new titles and furniture for the libraries.

Thanks to all who made this a great event and helped us find new homes for our books!
