The BISP Primary students have the opportunity to enter the Junior Language Challenge, a language-learning competition based in the UK. The competition is for children in Years 3, 4 and 5 who will be under 10 years old on September 1st 2018. We are accepting registrations NOW and can provide further information.

The competition consists of learning a language using the unique uTalk app – easily downloadable onto a desktop, MacBook, phone or tablet (downloading instructions and passwords will be sent when you apply to enter). Students who succeed in the first round will proceed to the semi-finals, with the finals being held in London in September 2018.

The competition organisers say:

“We make learning fun and introduce children to some exciting new languages. By using our FREE app children are given their own user account and encouraged to learn independently. There are some great prizes to be won and all money raised from registration fees goes to the charity ‘onebillion’, who work to help educate children in developing countries.”

In order to register your child, please send an email stating his/her First Name, Family Name and date of birth. Please also send the parental contact name and email address to: [email protected]

I look forward to receiving all your entries very soon.
