The Singapore Art Trip Day Two started off with a visit to the Singapore Art Museum where there were two exhibitions, 5 Stars–Art Reflects on Peace, Justice, Equality, Democracy and Progress and President’s Young Talents.
The students experienced various contemporary installations and interactive artworks. This inspired some thought provoking discussions and sketchbook pages.
The students also had the opportunity to meet Dana Langlois, the owner of Java Cafe and Gallery and Artistic Director of the Boat in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Then we headed to LaSalle College of Arts where we visited their five gallery spaces which included the Institute of Contemporary Art Singapore with works by Navin Thomas, an Indian artist, and Tracey Moffatt from Australia.
The students also viewed the graduate shows by MA Art students. Another fantastic art filled day.
