On Tuesday October 17th, BISP hosted an evening of masters’ basketball action with a mini tri-series between touring French team Quadratour, a local Thai club and a BISP community team featuring a selection of parents and staff.

A ceremonial jump ball got things underway in the presence of French Honorary Consul Mr. Claude Maigrot de Crissey, BISP Headmaster Mr. Neil Richards and Deputy Governor of Phuket Mr. Sakchai Kunanuwatchaidetch – there was plenty of action, with games a lot more physical than expected!

The French team consisted of players over 45 years, but with a number of former high level basketball players, proved too strong and won the competition by defeating both teams.
