BISP is pleased to announce that our school buses have been officially certified for student safety, receiving the License for the Use of Vehicles for Student Transportation Service for Term 1. All 10 of our vehicles have successfully met the strict standards set by the Ministry of Education, the Department of Land Transport, and the School Bus Act and regulations issued in 2025.

This licence confirms that our drivers, vehicles, and safety measures meet all legal requirements, giving families peace of mind that student wellbeing comes first. To receive approval, BISP had to demonstrate compliance across four key areas:

Qualified Drivers

All school bus drivers must be at least 25 years old, hold a valid driving licence for at least three years, and be in good physical and mental health. They are required to show responsibility, patience, and full knowledge of their routes, as well as the ability to check and maintain vehicle systems.

Safe and Visible Vehicles

Each van must display a bright orange “School Bus” sign in Thai on both the front and rear, visible day and night. Buses are also required to be painted in safe, visible colours and kept free from anything that might block visibility or cause distractions on the road.

Safety Equipment On Board

Every school bus must be equipped with a fire extinguisher and a securely installed emergency hammer to assist students in case of accidents or emergencies.

Documented Compliance

The licence process also required official ID copies for all drivers and bus duty staff, along with photos of each vehicle’s interior and exterior.

At BISP, student safety and wellbeing remain at the heart of everything we do, both on campus and on the journey to and from school. We are proud that our school vans continue to meet the highest safety standards, ensuring peace of mind for parents and a secure ride for students.
