Ambre has been part of the BISP community for the past two years, bringing passion, leadership and determination to her academic journey. She has received offers from McGill University, Concordia University, Wageningen University, and veterinary schools in Budapest and Valencia. She has decided to commit to McGill University, where she will follow the pre-veterinary programme before pursuing a career in Veterinary Medicine.
Ambre’s interest in biology and animal care was strengthened during her Senior School years. Being part of Ms Willis’s biology class deepened her love for the subject, while a veterinary internship overseas confirmed her desire to work in the field. The support and guidance she received from Ms Amy and her teachers at BISP helped her reflect on her aspirations and plan her next steps with confidence.
As House Captain for the Green Cobras, Ambre demonstrated her leadership and organisational skills, also taking the initiative to co-organise the school blood drive. These experiences helped her develop key communication skills and a passion for leading projects connected to science and service – qualities she hopes to bring into her future veterinary career.
With a strong academic foundation and a clear sense of purpose, Ambre is ready to take the next step towards becoming a leader in the field of animal health and care.
