Deepika has been part of the BISP community for 11 years, growing into a thoughtful and dedicated student with a strong sense of purpose. She has received offers from several top universities in the UK, including University College London (her first choice) , King’s College London, the University of Bristol, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Leeds. She will go on to study History, Politics and Economics – a multidisciplinary path that reflects her intellectual curiosity and engagement with the world around her.

Her Senior School experience played a key role in shaping her academic direction. Taking History and Economics in the IB Diploma Programme confirmed her interest in those subjects, while her early participation in MUN sparked an appreciation for political debate and global affairs. These experiences have helped her develop a nuanced understanding of how ideas and systems influence society.

As Head of Academics, Deepika embraced the responsibilities of student leadership, enhancing her organisational and collaboration skills. The role gave her a platform to support her peers and lead with integrity – experiences that have helped prepare her for the challenges of university and beyond.

An academic scholar, Deepika leaves BISP with a strong foundation in research, analysis and communication. She is ready to explore the intersection of ideas and policy, with the goal of making a meaningful contribution to the future.
