Laura has been a part of the BISP community since Year 7, growing into a driven and compassionate student with a clear vision for her future. She has received offers from universities including King’s College London, UCL, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Exeter and Concordia University, Canada; all in science-focused or pre-med pathways. She has chosen to begin her medical studies at St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she will pursue her goal of becoming a doctor.

While Laura has long been interested in medicine, her Senior School experience at BISP helped her explore that interest in greater depth. From hospital internships in New York City and Phuket to joining MedSOC in Year 13, Laura actively sought out opportunities to gain real-world insight into healthcare. She also co-organised a school blood drive with her classmate Ambre, further affirming her commitment to service and patient care.

Laura credits her teachers and university counsellors for helping her grow academically and personally. In particular, she shares appreciation for Ms Amy, whose support and encouragement played a meaningful role in her university application journey.

A high-performance aerial athlete and committed student, Laura now moves forward with purpose and determination, ready to begin her medical studies and continue making a difference in the lives of others.
