Matthew has been part of the BISP community for 14 years, growing up on campus and shaping his identity through both academic experiences and school life. He has received offers from several UK universities, including Northumbria University, Lancaster University, Newcastle University, Manchester Metropolitan University and York University. He will go on to study Business Management, pursuing a path that aligns with his long-standing interest in the field.

His decision to enter the world of business was influenced by four years of studying Business Management across both GCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. These courses gave him insight into how organisations operate, how decisions are made, and what it takes for businesses to thrive. The subject helped him develop a practical understanding of leadership, finance, marketing and operations, all of which shaped his future direction.

As a high-performance athlete, Matthew represented BISP on the Senior Cruzeiro football team and participated in every Soccer 7s tournament during his time at the school. His involvement in team events, sports and group initiatives contributed to his collaborative mindset and strong sense of commitment.

With a firm foundation built over many years at BISP, Matthew now looks ahead to applying what he has learned in the classroom and on the field to the world of business and beyond.
