The 2024–25 season has been an exceptional chapter for the BISP Sea Eagles Swimming Academy. With a refreshed structure, new additions to the coaching team and a series of standout performances, BISP swimmers have continued to raise the bar both in training and in competition.
A united and growing team
This year welcomed new coaches Ayman (Silver Squad) and Cheryl (Blue Squad), who joined the established coaching team of Coach Vicky, Coach Grace and Coach Luke, who continues to lead the Learn to Swim programme. Their combined efforts have fostered a supportive and high-performing environment across all squads. Looking ahead, Coach Patrick Stallino will join in August as the new High Performance Team coach, positioning the programme for even greater achievements in the coming season.
Record-breaking performances
It has been a season of outstanding results, with swimmers setting 46 new school records across multiple age categories. These achievements reflect not only individual commitment but also the depth and strength of the programme as a whole.
Success on the competitive stage
The BISP Sea Eagles stood out at several major competitions throughout the year. Highlights included first-place finishes at the Patana Feeding Frenzy, the BISP Sea Eagles Invitational and the PISAC Invitational. At the FOBISIA Invitational, the team placed second overall and secured first in quality team points, demonstrating both depth and consistency across events.
National and international impact
Twelve BISP swimmers qualified for the Thai National Championships, earning a number of top-eight finishes. On the international stage, Duana Lama made history by qualifying for the Paris Olympics. Enkhmend Enkhmend earned medals at the Mongolian Nationals and the FINA World Cup in Shanghai, while Arvin and Arabella Taguinota returned with medals from the Philippine Age Group Championships. Looking forward, Enkhmend is set to compete at the Junior World Championships and Duana will represent on the global stage at the World Championships.
Celebrating our graduates
This season also marks a milestone for our graduating Year 13 swimmers. Duana Lama will continue her academic and athletic journey at the University of New Hampshire, while Soumaya Fulton will join the swim team at Utah State University in the United States.
As the season comes to an end, BISP celebrates the dedication, resilience and progress of its swimmers. With strong foundations in place and momentum on their side, the Sea Eagles are poised for an even stronger 2025–26 season.
