The Primary Library (PL) is located centrally on the second floor of the Primary building, between the Key Stage pods.

It is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm.  It is used by students, teachers and the wider BISP community.

Students from Reception to Year 6 have a timetabled weekly lesson with the Teacher Librarian. Little Ducks and Nursery are free to come regularly to exchange books. Teachers reserve and use the PL for classroom support and activities.

It manages over 18,000 resources to support the teaching and learning of Early Years, KS1 and KS2. The PL has an extensive print, digital and online collection including books, ebooks, newspapers, databases and magazines in nine languages. The PL has computer access for students and facilities for large groups.

The PL celebrates International School Library Week, World Book Day and Book Week every year with guest authors and special events. The PL is regularly involved in offering after school activities. The PL offers Book Club four times per year and hosts regular Book Fairs.

All members of the BISP community are welcome to access the BISP Libraries.
