Dear Players, Coaches and Parents,
On behalf of the British International School Phuket, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the 17th Annual BISP Soccer 7s. BISP is proud to host, one of the largest International Schools Football Tournament of its kind with over 1,500 competitors registered from 41 different International Schools.
The BISP Soccer 7s will provide you with many possibilities to challenge yourself individually and as a team within the context of a competitive environment. In the past years students have had memorable experiences at this tournament and I wish you similar outcomes. I trust that these couple days will be a time of friendship, competition and fun.
You are all ambassadors for your respective schools and regardless of winning or losing it is our goal that everyone plays with respect and sportsmanship. We understand that being part of a team demands commitment that involves both dedication and sacrifice, and we congratulate all competitors for participating in this year’s tournament. It is your time to shine!
An event such as this does not come without the hard work of many people. I wish to thank the Tournament Committee: Nigel Wheeler, Khun Anne, Khun Wate, Khun Anchalee and members of the each of the following departments: Marketing, Business, Events, Security, Kitchen staff, Maintenance department and Grounds staff. Also thanks to the referees from Phuket Rajabhat University as well as all our students for their assistance during the tournament.
