BISP Tennis Academy Director, Gill Lemore, has organised new social leagues with the goal of encouraging parents, students and staff to play more tennis against new tennis partners. This FREE event for the BISP community invites players of all levels. Players will need to play a series of matches, with a maximum of 13 or 15 games, within two months, after which each player will go up or down a league depending on their results.
Tennis is introduced on the Physical Education curriculum in Year 3, where the professional tennis coaches support the PE teachers. The BISP Tennis Academy offers a wide range of coaching programmes for different ability levels with both group or private coaching. The Tennis Centre is home to the BISP Tennis Club, where all interested tennis players can meet to pursue opportunities to play the sport competitively, as well as socially.
