Two talented young musicians from BISP have recently achieved recognition on the international stage, showcasing their passion, skill and dedication to music through high-level competitions in both Asia and Europe.

Lucas Performs in the 7th Steinway Youth Piano Competition

Year 8 student Lucas took part in the Semi-Final Round of the 7th Steinway Youth Piano Competition (SYPC). The event brought together some of the region’s most promising young pianists to perform in front of a panel of esteemed judges.

Representing BISP with poise and professionalism, Lucas delivered a confident and technically impressive performance, highlighting not only his dedication, but also the strength of music learning at BISP. Watch his performance HERE.

Elina Wins Silver at the International European Music Competition

Fellow Year 8 student Elina competed in the Final Round of the International European Music Competition 2025, held in Hamburg, Germany. Performing in Category C, Elina impressed the judges with a refined and expressive interpretation, earning the Silver Prize on a highly competitive international stage.

The award ceremony in Hamburg marked a proud moment for Elina, her family, and the music community at BISP. Her success reflects consistent hard work, perseverance and a deep love for music nurtured both in and beyond the classroom.
