Paige has spent the past two years at BISP, where her interest in understanding how people think, feel and behave has grown into a clear academic and career path. She has received offers to study Psychology from the University of Queensland, Northeastern University London, Royal Holloway and Keele University, and is also applying to universities in Australia. Her long-term goal is to pursue research in developmental psychology and neurodivergence.

Her time in Senior School helped her gain clarity on the areas of psychology she is most passionate about. Through the IB curriculum and the school’s personalised support, Paige discovered her strengths and future direction. A school-arranged internship at an educational and therapeutic clinic in Bangkok allowed her to explore the field in a real-world setting and confirmed her interest in developmental psychology. Her Extended Essay in Psychology and exposure to research content also sparked a strong interest in academic writing and investigation.

Beyond the classroom, Paige actively contributed to the school community. As a member of the MUN club, she developed her public speaking skills and deepened her awareness of global issues. She also supported the business development committee for the 24 Hour Race, strengthening her organisational and project planning abilities. Additionally, she produced three episodes of the BISP Educational Podcast.

With curiosity, compassion and a growing passion for research, Paige is now ready to step into the next stage of her learning journey, focused on making a meaningful impact in the world of mental health and human development.
