BISP Year 5 students visited the Peranakan Phuket Museum on Thursday, February 8th, 2024, organised by the Thai Studies Primary Department. This excursion served as a valuable opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of their local community while offering a platform for the students to enhance their comprehension of Thai culture.

During the trip, the students were able to observe a demonstration on how to make some local Phuket desserts and had the delightful experience of tasting some of these desserts firsthand too. The students not only tasted the flavours of Phuket but also gained a more nuanced understanding of Thai traditions, fostering a practical connection between classroom learning and the vibrant community around them.
