The vision of the BISP Golf Academy is to build and refine all of our students’ golfing skills through technical, mental, tactical and physical strategies. We will build character while producing well rounded and balanced individuals.
Our goal is to create an environment that is inspiring and motivating, providing the structure and tools to allow our students to fulfill their aspirations.
Many programmes are delivered in group training. We believe in individualized plans for improvement, creating custom training programmes for each student based on their individual needs and goals. We get to know our students; we recognize their strengths and talents as well as the areas that hold them back from being their best.
Together we will work to make them the very best they can be.
With our highly experienced academy coach, Mr Oliver Bates, the golf programme will create the full golfing experience to prepare students for higher levels of play, aiming to develop an elite group that will pursue tournament play and represent the school in competitions.
The programme will integrate the complete range of golfing skills for all levels, from primary school to senior school and elite golfers. Strong emphasis will be placed on developing talent at a young age through golf skills, fitness and mental training with individualised development programmes.
Students will benefit from learning at various locations. The programme will consist of driving range sessions with full video analysis, on course golf lessons at various courses, classroom study on the rules of golf, etiquette, mental coaching and a full introduction and study of the history of golf and tournament play. Sessions will take place at either BISP, Loch Palm Golf Course or the Phunaka Golf Academy video studio and 9 hole academy course.
