Universities around the world welcome BTEC Sport graduates onto their sport, business and related degree programmes as a single University entry qualification. BISP supports these students with extensive University application support provided by the school.

Additionally students pursue Level 3 Qualification in Sports Leadership, a prestigious and nationally recognised programme accredited by the Leadership Skills Foundation.

The BTEC International Level 3 in Business at BISP is a two-year, full-time course for students in Years 12 and 13, with a strong focus on practical, real world learning. The programme is designed to equip students with a career focused business qualification, shaped by global industry experts, that prepares them for both university study and the world of work.

The course reflects BISP’s Triple Helix philosophy of Learning, Wellbeing, and Passion, allowing students to focus on a specialist area of study while developing confidence, independence, and professional skills. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and to engage deeply with business concepts in meaningful and relevant ways.

Rather than relying on traditional exam-heavy assessment, the BTEC Business course uses a modular, coursework-based approach. Students are assessed continuously through projects, assignments, and case studies, mirroring how success is achieved in the modern business world through planning, teamwork, problem solving, and meeting professional deadlines over time.
