On Monday 28th April, we proudly opened the doors to the brand new BISP Innovation Hub, a vibrant space designed to bring creativity, collaboration and future-focused learning to the heart of our campus.
We were honoured to welcome Mr Mark Gooding OBE, British Ambassador to Thailand, who officially launched the Hub alongside our Head of School, Mr Simon Meredith. The event gathered members of the BISP leadership team, students, staff, parents and special guests to celebrate this exciting milestone.
The morning included a keynote from Mr Meredith, followed by remarks from Mr Gooding, who began his official Thailand visit, celebrating 170 years of UK–Thailand diplomatic relations. After a symbolic ribbon-cutting, guests explored the new facilities and saw the Innovation Hub in action.
This hub isn’t just a building or a space. It represents a philosophy,” said Mr Meredith. “At BISP, innovation is not a buzzword or a standalone subject. It’s a mindset we aim to foster in every classroom, in every lesson, and in every student.
Bringing together Design Technology, Computer Science and Art & Design, the Innovation Hub offers a flexible, purpose-built environment that supports learning across disciplines. Already, it has sparked visible energy, creativity and curiosity among students. The space encourages young learners to think differently, work collaboratively and engage deeply with real-world challenges.
Ambassador Gooding, a former teacher himself, praised the Hub as an example of what sets BISP apart as a leading international school:
This hub reflects the values we share in the UK: a strong belief in education as a force for good, a commitment to pushing boundaries, and the importance of preparing the next generation for a world defined by change.
The Innovation Hub is more than just a new facility, it’s a catalyst for forward-thinking education. As part of BISP’s broader commitment to inspiring innovation across the curriculum, this space will continue to open up exciting new opportunities for students and teachers alike.
BISP at the British Embassy Fair
Following the opening of the Innovation Hub, BISP was also proud to support the British Embassy Fair which was held at Big C, where our students gave a wonderful performance as part of the celebrations. We are incredibly proud of all our performers for representing the school with such confidence, talent and spirit.
