With a programme that spans from Year 3 to Year 12, the 2024–25 academic year has been another exceptional season for the BISP Golf Academy. Students of all levels have embraced the game, showing remarkable improvement, perseverance and ambition on and off the course.
Elite performance on the world stage
BISP continues to support some of the region’s top junior golfers, with standout performances from Louise Landgraf and Namo Luangnitikul. Louise proudly represented Team Europe at the Junior Solheim Cup in the United States and claimed victories at the Portuguese Amateur Championship and KLPGA Qualifying, alongside strong finishes at the French and Spanish Amateur Championships. Namo earned selection for the Thai Senior Ladies National Team and qualified for the Annika Sorenstam Finals in the US, also competing regularly and successfully on the TLPGA tour. Both athletes continue to set the standard, managing intense competition schedules while maintaining academic excellence.
Strong comebacks and rising talent
Namon Luangnitikul returned from injury to claim new victories, and Bella (Qianyu Tao), who joined BISP in January, quickly impressed with her adaptability and strong performances. Among our senior boys, players including Darun Lyu, Oscar Smith, Louie Gertz and Tony Kwon began competing in TGA and Junior Golf Series events with promising results. With new talent set to join the programme in August, the future looks bright for BISP Golf, with senior players continuing to inspire those in the development groups.
Growing the game from the ground up
At the foundation level, BISP’s Fun and Development groups have introduced many young golfers to the sport. Beginning in Year 3, these students have embraced their golfing journey with enthusiasm and have made clear progress on the course throughout the year. It has been a pleasure to see so many smiling faces, new friendships forming and confidence growing through sport.
From international podiums to first tee shots, the 2024–25 season has demonstrated the depth and strength of BISP’s golfing culture. As new programmes and curriculums prepare to launch in 2025–26, the academy remains committed to growing the game at every level and nurturing talent with care, professionalism and pride.
