Parents of Early Years children were recently welcomed to a Stay and Play session in both Nursery and Reception. The event offered a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school, giving parents an insight into how their children learn through play while fostering trust and collaboration between families and teachers.

Our youngest learners proudly shared their morning routines, joined in circle time, and took part in a variety of engaging activities linked to this term’s theme, ‘All About Me’.

In Reception, parents were invited to observe a phonics lesson before exploring the learning environment alongside their children. 

It was a joy to see families joining in the activities, discovering how play supports development and learning across different areas. The children were delighted to show their parents what they have been working on and how they learn each day at school.
