British International School, Phuket is pleased to announce that it will once again host the Kangaroo Maths Competition, an internationally recognised mathematics event that promotes logical thinking and creative problem-solving through engaging, non-routine challenges.
The competition will take place on Sunday, 29/03/2026, and is open to BISP students from Year 2 to Year 13. Conducted in English and in a paper-based format, students will have 90 minutes (9:00–10:30) to tackle a series of carefully designed problems that encourage reasoning rather than rote learning. Participants compete within their own year groups, ensuring a fair and age-appropriate experience.
BISP students have a strong history of participation and achievement in the Kangaroo Maths Competition, with awards recognising the top 10% (Gold), next 10% (Silver), next 10% (Bronze) and next 20% (Merit) of participants globally. Registration closes on 13 March 2026, with a registration fee of THB 740.
