Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

On February 4, a group of 31 students from Years 10–13 took part in an inspiring Industry Masterclass led by Kelly Hezemans, founder of iBoost Online, followed by a highly entertaining Product Pitch Challenge hosted by TETR College of Business.

For the challenge, students worked in teams and were tasked with creating a product that was “Absurd” – wildly unrealistic and completely illogical… and then pitching it convincingly as if it were a real product worth buying!

The creativity on display was outstanding, with teams presenting hilarious and imaginative ideas such as:

🧢 Affirmation Cap

🍴 Foodjit Spinner (a fidget spinner with food utensils!)

🛏️ Bedpool (a bed that drops you into water if you don’t wake up!)

🐙 Octowear (shoes made from octopus!)

…and many more!

All teams did an incredible job presenting their pitches – but there could only be one winner…

Congratulations to our Year 12 students Enkhmend, Valeriia, Hiisan, and Mammoth, who took home their share of a $1,000 USD prize for their product, “Octowear”!
