BISP golfer Seb achieved another impressive milestone this week after qualifying for the Laguna Singha Phuket Open, a professional tournament with a prize fund of 3,000,000 baht.

Following a recent tournament victory at Katathong in Phang Nga, Seb entered Monday’s qualifying event against a field of 33 players, including 30 professional golfers. At just 14 years old, he secured qualification in 5th place, an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the hard work and dedication he continues to show both on and off the course.

He is incredibly talented and with his work ethic over the last six months with focus on mental strength, short game and driving distance he has become very competitive at all levels. This qualification represents a valuable opportunity for Seb to gain experience competing at a professional-level event and to test himself against some of the region’s top players. It is also a proud moment for his family, with his father James supporting him throughout the tournament as his caddie.
