Looking back on the 2025–2026 school year, the BISP Sea Eagles Swimming programme has much to celebrate. From first-time swimmers taking their earliest strokes to experienced athletes competing at the highest level, it has been a year defined by dedication, achievement and personal growth.
Throughout the year, swimmers across every squad demonstrated exceptional commitment both in training and competition. The programme continued to provide opportunities for students of all ages and abilities to develop their technique, build confidence and foster a lifelong love of swimming in a supportive and high-performance environment.
One of the season’s standout moments came at the PISAC Swimming Invitational, where more than 100 BISP swimmers represented the school across every squad, including our highest Learn to Swim levels. The Sea Eagles delivered an outstanding team performance, scoring more than twice as many points as the second-place team and accumulating as many points as all the other participating PISAC swimming teams combined. It was a remarkable achievement that reflected the strength and depth of the programme.
The competition also saw several swimmers recognised with High Point Awards:
- 8 & Under Girls Runner-Up: Nastya
- 9–10 Girls Runner-Up: Harper
- 9–10 Boys Runner-Up: Jake
- 11–12 Girls Runner-Up: Sascha
- 13–14 Girls Champion: Maa
- 13–14 Girls Runner-Up: Misheel
- 13–14 Boys Champion: Anton
- 13–14 Boys Runner-Up: Julian
- 15 & Over Girls Champion: Lynna
- 15 & Over Girls Runner-Up: Valeriia
- 15 & Over Boys Champion: Zac
- 15 & Over Boys Runner-Up: Enkhmend
Beyond competition, the programme continued to nurture the next generation of swimmers through the Primary School Swim Galas. From Early Years through to Year 6, students had the opportunity to showcase their progress, represent their year groups and experience the excitement of swimming in a positive and encouraging environment. These events highlighted not only developing swimming skills but also confidence, resilience and sportsmanship.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of the BISP Sea Eagles coaching team, whose expertise and passion continue to inspire every swimmer to reach their full potential. Their commitment, together with the enthusiasm of our swimmers and the ongoing support of families, has helped create a thriving swimming community that continues to set a high standard both in Phuket and across the region.
While the school year has come to an end, the swimming continues throughout the holidays. This Monday July 27th, the BISP Sea Eagles Swimming Summer Camp gets underway, giving swimmers the opportunity to stay active, continue developing their skills and enjoy more time in the pool under the guidance of our experienced coaching team.
Congratulations to all of our swimmers on another incredible year. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the pool this summer and building on another fantastic season of success.
