BISP is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our 2026 IGCSE cohort, with students achieving another excellent set of results and a record number securing the highest grades of A* and A.

This year’s results reflect the hard work, determination and academic commitment of our students, supported throughout their IGCSE journey by their teachers and families.The results represent another strong year for IGCSE students at BISP. Particularly impressive is the proportion of top grades, with 44% of all grades awarded at A or A*, compared with 40% in 2025, while 72% were awarded at A–B*, compared with 70% last year.

Simon Meredith, BISP Head of School, reflected on the significance of this year’s achievements:

“These outstanding IGCSE results are among the strongest we have seen at BISP, with a record number of students achieving the highest grades of A and A. They are a wonderful reflection of the talent, hard work and commitment of our students, supported by the dedication and expertise of our teachers. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing what they go on to accomplish.”

Tim Pearson, Secondary School Principal, also congratulated the students on another exceptional year:

“We are immensely proud of our students’ outstanding achievements in this year’s IGCSE examinations. Once again, they have raised the bar to an even higher level, demonstrating their exceptional dedication, determination, and academic excellence.”

For students, these results mark the culmination of their IGCSE studies and provide a strong foundation as they move into the next stage of their education at BISP and beyond.

Gavin Terry, Head of Upper School & IGCSE Coordinator, recognised not only the students’ achievements but also the community that supported them throughout their journey:

“A huge congratulations to our students on some excellent IGCSE results. Your hard work and resilience have paid off, and we are all so proud of you.
