There was a wonderful sense of excitement across campus today as BISP welcomed our new families ahead of the start of the 2026/27 academic year.
The New Family Orientation provided an opportunity for families to become familiar with the school, meet members of our community and feel more at home before the first day of term. Primary families began their morning with a welcome in the Primary Hall, followed by the chance for children to meet their teachers and visit their new classrooms. Secondary families were also welcomed to campus before exploring the school and boarding facilities.
For many of our students, today was also the first opportunity to meet their new classmates. It was lovely to see new friendships already beginning to form, as children explored their new surroundings and started to settle into life at BISP.
Throughout the morning, the BISP Marketplace brought together teams from across the school in the Innovation Hub, giving families the opportunity to learn more about everything from IT and Learning Support to ECAs, the PTA, school transport, Sport Academies, Music and other services available within the BISP community.
More than simply an introduction to the campus, the morning was about helping our newest families begin to feel part of the community they are joining.
With classrooms prepared, teachers ready and both new and returning families getting ready for the year ahead, everything is in place for the start of a new school year at BISP.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to campus on Monday, 24 August, and begin another exciting year of learning, friendships and new experiences together.
Welcome to BISP — we’re so happy to have you with us!
