On Monday 30th March, BISP Primary students delivered an outstanding performance to be crowned 2026 Primary PISAC Champions, capping off a long but highly successful day of athletics hosted at HeadStart City Campus.
Despite the heat and the added challenge of some students returning from a busy football weekend in Samui, the team approached the event with focus and determination. After a warm-up jog to familiarise themselves with the track, student leaders guided the team through a structured dynamic warm-up, ensuring everyone was prepared for the competition ahead.
The day began with the 400m races, the longest track event, where BISP athletes made an early impact by securing valuable team points. As the competition progressed, students rotated through both track and field events, maintaining strong performances across all disciplines.
BISP excelled in the field events, finishing as overall leaders in long jump, shot put, javelin, and quoit sling. These performances were instrumental in building a strong points total. While the sprint events (200m, 100m, and 50m) highlighted areas for future development, the team’s overall consistency ensured they remained competitive throughout the day.
The relays brought a few tense moments, but the team held their composure. Their efforts were rewarded during an exciting final results presentation, where BISP was officially announced as the overall champions.
Beyond the results, the students represented the school with pride. Their behaviour, teamwork, and resilience were exemplary throughout a demanding afternoon of competition. The atmosphere was further lifted by a strong group of supportive parents and family members who cheered the team on from start to finish.
