Following a successful BISP Soccer 7s tournament, the BISP Cruzeiro Football Academy U13 and U15 sides returned to the pitch last weekend for the Phuket Cup at Thanyapura.

U13 MVP: Anthony – Year 9

The U13 team, which included female athletes Celine, Tamara and Lauren, were undisputed champions, conceding not one goal in matches against Football West Australia, Karon FC and Kathu FC. The side beat Kathu FC, 2-0, in the final after goals from Celine and Rodion.

The U15 competition featured teams from New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia and Phuket. BISP Cruzeiro finished runners up after going undefeated into the final against Tiger Kids Malaysia. The final score was 0-1. 

U15 MVP: Siam – Year 11

Congratulations to Anthony (Year 9) and Siam (Year 11) who were named tournament MVPs, and to U13 top scorers Arwyn and Ben who each found the net four times during the tournament.
