We are delighted to share an exciting opportunity for BISP students in Years 9 to 13 to take part in the NextGen Entrepreneurs Tech and AI Boot Camp, held in Niseko, Japan, from 11 to 18 October 2025 during the school’s October break.
This seven-day international experience will immerse students in the worlds of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Through dynamic workshops, hands-on challenges and outdoor exploration in one of Japan’s most stunning regions, participants will build future-ready skills in a collaborative, engaging environment. The programme includes expert-led sessions in artificial intelligence and robotics, culminating in a final pitch presentation to showcase student ideas.
Programme Highlights
- Expert-led workshops by an academic from Imperial College London and an experienced venture capitalist
- Hands-on projects solving real-world tech challenges
- Final pitch presentations to demonstrate learning and teamwork

- Connections with like-minded peers from across the region
Previous boot camps led by the same instructors have been hosted successfully at institutions including BISP, Chulalongkorn University and the University of Hong Kong.
Travel and Logistics
- Flights: Return from Phuket (HKT) to Sapporo (CTS), typically via Bangkok or another Asian hub
- Dates: Depart 11 October (4pm approximately), return 18 October (evening, 8pm approximately)
- Accommodation: A resort in Niseko with purpose-built learning facilities
- Visa: Please check the visa requirements for your child’s passport. Visas are not required for some nationalities. For others, such as Russian and Chinese passport holders, visas are required and can be arranged via the Japanese Embassy in Bangkok or the Post Office in Phuket Town.
Costs and Payment Details
- Programme Fee: Approximately THB 182,000, covering flights, accommodation, meals**, learning materials, insurance and activities*
- Deposit: A non-refundable THB 70,000 deposit is due by 19 September 2025
- Additional Costs: Personal spending money (approx. THB 1,250–2,500 for souvenirs)
*Please note that prices may vary slightly depending on student numbers, final airline confirmation and travel season. **Price does not include meals at the airports.
