During Term 2, BISP Computer Science students took part in the prestigious Perse Coding Team Challenge (PCTC), an international competition that challenges students to solve increasingly complex programming problems. With over 800 students from more than 130 schools around the world participating, the PCTC is one of the most competitive coding events of the academic year.

The competition is structured in two rounds. In Round 1, students work in pairs to complete a series of timed coding challenges. Top-performing teams then qualify for Round 2, where students compete individually to solve more advanced problems under pressure.

We are proud to share that BISP students achieved outstanding results, finishing 1st in Thailand and 19th globally, a remarkable achievement on the international stage.

In Round 2, Prem, Wilson and Mark all received Distinction awards for their performance. Over 750 teams qualified for the second round, and Prem’s score of 87 placed him 84th worldwide, highlighting his exceptional skill and focus.

These results reflect not only the students’ technical ability but also their teamwork, problem-solving mindset and perseverance. Congratulations to all involved for representing BISP with such excellence.
