On a bright and inspiring day in Phuket, our Year 12 BTEC Sport students took part in the BEING 2025 Thailand event—an international gathering focused on health, fitness, and holistic wellbeing. The event provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with leaders in the wellness industry and explore themes directly connected to their BTEC studies.

One highlight of the day was a session on “Nutrition for Mind, Body & Soul”, which gave students a fresh perspective on the importance of fuelling both physical performance and mental wellbeing. The talk offered practical advice and challenged students to think critically about the role of nutrition in sport and life.

Throughout the day, students explored exhibitions, attended expert-led sessions, and gained insight into how Thailand is emerging as a leader in the global wellness economy. It was a great chance to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications and future career pathways.

The day concluded with a calming and reflective mandala painting session, encouraging students to slow down, be present, and take stock of what they’d learned. It was the perfect way to round off a meaningful day before heading back to school—more grounded, more inspired, and more informed.

We’re proud of the way our students engaged and look forward to seeing how they bring these insights into their upcoming coursework.
